Nourishing Yoga for Mind-Body Wellness Date: Wednesdays Time: 8am-9am Instructor Facilitator: Jen Rizza, RYT Advanced Therapeutic Yoga, Yin & Restorative Specialty, Reiki Master Teacher, Wellness & Lifestyle Coach Class Description: Nourishing Yoga for Mind-Body Wellness - With a slow and mindful focus, linking movement with breath, this 60-minute class invites you to unite mind and body, revitalizing your Prana (life force energy) through a gentle yoga flow. Yoga movements will promote spaciousness to increase energetic Prana flow in the body, ranging from seated to floor and some simple standing poses. Adaptable to all ability levels, this practice aims to help you find rootedness in the poses, possibility in the breath, clarity in the mind and hope in your spirit. Who is this for: If you like a traditional style yoga class but appreciate a slower, gentle and more mindful approach, this class will invite you to strengthen your physical yoga practice (asana) as well as your self-reflection and inner knowing (pratyahara). We welcome beginners to seasoned yogis to join us and start your day nourished from within and without, feeling aligned in mind and body. Shapes and poses will be offered with modifications to meet your body where it is, inspiring loving acceptance and compassion.
