Service Description
If you’re looking for a quick fix, coaching is not the right fit for you. However, if you understand that just like the habits you’ve developed over years, that big change can happen with consistent effort, then coaching is here to support you! When you’re looking to make lifestyle changes for better wellbeing, it can be challenging to find the right shifts to make, and even harder to stick with it. Look at how many fad diets are out there that most people follow for 2 months... Or the number of gym memberships or exercise regimes that get started, then fade as life intervenes… A big reason that people get stuck or fall off their program is because they don’t take the time to also shift their mindset while trying to shift external habits. The two work hand-in-hand. And this is where coaching is very successful! In the coaching model, we will work together to first identify the wellness & lifestyle goals you’d like to achieve. From there, we’ll begin to craft an outline with some benchmarks to measure your success, and then start to create action steps to get you there. In sessions, we will meet to discuss the steps you set into motion since the last session, talk through your wins and any roadblocks or mindset barriers that tripped you up, as well as talk through the right next steps. While making shifts to external habits (such as diet, meditation, exercise), we’re also working to shift how you talk to yourself, keep yourself motivated, rise to challenges, and stay in alignment with your goals. Coaching is most effective over a minimum of a 3-6 month period. When I work with clients, we set a schedule in advance, booking biweekly sessions for 60 minutes on a day and time that you can commit to honoring. The key work of shifting your mindset is making your wellness and health a top priority, not something you do when it’s convenient. Lasting change IS possible, I can attest to it, and it starts with adopting lifestyle habits that are practical, feasible, and most importantly – enjoyable! Sessions default as a Zoom video session.
