Service Description

Flow & Focus Date: Thursdays Time: 5:30-6:45pm Instructor/Facilitator: Kate Petty, RYT-300 Class Description: Kate offers this mindful and dynamic flow that presents the spectrum of traditional hatha yoga asanas. She includes guidance to evolve in your practice, using conscious breath to link movement in fluidity. Class begins with grounding and centering through posture awareness, followed by spinal awakening and stretches to release tension and increase flexibility before moving into a vinyasa flow. Kate blends in breathwork to promote a focused pulse of moving meditation, allowing students to awaken their inner guidance (sankalpa) and expand prana (vital life force energy) —to move with purpose, grace, and the quiet joy of being fully alive. The practice concludes with a calming wind-down of restorative poses. During savasana, as you feel comfortable, Kate may incorporate aromatherapy, gentle touch, and quiet time for relaxation.
