Service Description

iRest co-meditation dyads are a wonderful way to sense and welcome whatever is present for you. Through this deeply personal, one-on-one practice, you’ll be invited to tap into the deep language of your inner self, uncovering messages that are waiting to be acknowledged and embraced. Unlike a traditional guided meditation, a dyad is more conversational and spacious. Two people sit together, in presence with one another, focusing on a single question or point of contemplation. You are invited to notice what is arising and give voice to your experience as you gently inquire more deeply into yourself. Rather than beginning from a place of brokenness or a need to fix something, we begin with the understanding that there is already a place within us that is whole. From this foundation, we can gently welcome all that is here—old patterns and beliefs, emotions and sensations, as well as unexpected insights, creativity, and new possibilities. A dyad offers an opportunity to work more personally with the iRest 10-step protocol and to explore what may be asking for your attention. You might bring anxiety, depression, physical pain, self-limiting beliefs, a creative question, or simply a desire to know yourself more deeply. Potential Benefits that co-meditative dyad may support you in: -Cultivating greater self-awareness and inner listening -Developing a more compassionate relationship with thoughts, emotions, and sensations -Finding greater ease and steadiness within the nervous system -Exploring habitual patterns, beliefs, and responses with curiosity rather than judgment -Connecting with inner resources and a deeper sense of wholeness -Supporting clarity around personal questions, choices, or life transitions -Opening space for creativity, insight, and new possibilities -Developing a greater capacity to be present with what is, just as it is There is nothing you need to accomplish or get right. The invitation is simply to become curious about what is here, to listen inwardly, and to discover what your own deeper knowing may have to offer. 60-minute co-meditative dyads are available in person in Sandy Hook, CT or on Zoom.
