Winter Solstice Circle

At the turn of the solstice, we mark the shift of seasons and energies, holding space for the longest night and shortest day of the year.  From traditional Eastern practices, Autumn is the closing season, the completion of the life cycle and the year; it’s the time when leaves fall and Nature sheds her green skin.  We then move into the Winter, the season of renewal; Nature gently slumbers, building the energy of potentiality beneath the layers of the earth, making winter the rebirth season, a time to incubate new intentions and energies to emerge in the spring! 

Over this transition time of the solstice, the energies of the prior year are discarded, they close in conclusion of the life cycle, and new energies percolate.  Through the practices of this Winter Solstice Circle, you are invited to shed and release the last bits of this year’s cycle, in anticipation of…
