About the event
A hands-on introduction to herbal medicine that explores the physical and spiritual properties of plants, a different body system each week, and a traditional medicine-making technique. Each class combines expert instruction with hands-on practice—you’ll make an herbal preparation to take home, deepen your relationship with the plants, and learn alongside a community of like-minded people.
Herbalism is more than learning which herb to use for what. It's about understanding the body, getting to know the plants, and learning how to turn that knowledge into practical medicine.
Each week, we explore a different body system and the plants that support it. You’ll learn the foundations of anatomy and physiology while exploring the physical actions, traditional uses, and spiritual qualities of each plant.
Then, you’ll put what you’re learning into practice by making a traditional herbal preparation to take home.
Learn the body. Explore the plants. Make the medicine.
