About the event
Build a strong foundation in the art and science of herbal medicine.
This 55-hour Family Herbalist Certification is designed for beginners and those with some previous herbal experience who want a structured, in-depth education in plant medicine.
Through weekly, hands-on classes, you'll study medicinal plants, human physiology, herbal actions, medicine-making, botany, and traditional herbal practices. You'll work directly with the plants you're studying, make herbal preparations to take home, and develop practical skills you can continue using long after the program ends.
This program is designed to help you move beyond collecting information about herbs and develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence to practice herbalism in your own life.
This certification meets weekly on Thursdays, 10am-12pm
Starting September 10th-December 17th (there is no class on Thanksgiving Day)
