About the event
Jen Rizza leads this Yin yoga practice, an invitation to find softness against the demands of daily life. Coming to the mat, after the activity (yang) of the week, enter a space of quieting, stillness and inner peace (yin), bringing you into connection with your body & building mindful awareness.
What to expect:
In this 90 minute yin yoga practice, you will be guided through varying supported postures to deeply stretch and expand both the body and the mind. Through a yin practice, there is a softening of edges, promoting stillness and quiet within to connect with your body & its wisdom. Yin yoga invites mindful presence and reflection to release and renew, learning to explore your 'edge' and where you can safely test your limits, discerning between self doubt and the possibility of discovery. Through practicing on the mat, we build skills to apply to life off-the-mat.
