Service Description
Balancing Effort & Ease: A Gentle Vinyasa Flow for Nervous System Health with Elaine Gallas 7–8pm ~ August 5 & 19 Newtown Wellness Collective In this grounding, somatic-based vinyasa class, we explore the art of balancing gentle effort with intentional ease—inviting the nervous system into a state of regulation, resilience, and restoration. Rooted in the principles of vagal toning and mindful movement, this class offers a nurturing space to move, breathe, and rest in rhythm with your body’s natural intelligence. Slow, flowing sequences are paired with spacious transitions and restorative pauses, allowing you to sense when to engage and when to soften. Each class includes: •Breath-centered movement that supports circulation, lymphatic flow, and vagal stimulation •Gentle vinyasa sequencing designed for all bodies and abilities •Moments of stillness to integrate, reflect, and settle Whether you’re seeking gentle activation, stress relief, or nervous system support, this class meets you where you are. Come as you are—no experience needed. Vagal toning involves practices that engage the vagus nerve, a key player in your body’s relaxation and self-regulation system (the parasympathetic nervous system).
