This is an in-person, in-studio class. Join Jen for a mixed-level class at the studio. There is no set agenda nor intention behind the class, just meeting you where you are when you show up, and guiding the class through a variety of stretches, movements, yoga poses, breathwork and restorative rejuvenation. Interested in learning about yoga but not sure if this is for you? A more seasoned yogi looking for a place to share in community? This class if for everyone. Come just as you are. Each day, class will vary, sometimes bringing slower-paced movements, and at other times moving through sequenced yoga poses. All classes will be offered with modifications for varying yoga experience. The practice of yoga is about tuning into your body through different poses and connecting information from the body with the mind. Jen will also incorporate techniques to help regulate your nervous system, such as breathing practices and approachable meditation to shift your mind away from stress and into rest and recovery. What you learn and cultivate on the mat can help you better manage life and feel in greater balance when off the mat. Class is 60 minutes and you're invited to register for any class you can attend. Yoga is meant to be accessible to all, so please select the contribution amount you are able to make. Maximum in-person group size is 7 participants. Newtown Wellness Collective practices body awareness & mindful movement, encouraging students to meet themselves where they are, with truth and loving acceptance.
