This class is a great way to get started with yoga and/or learn techniques rooted in yoga to support finding stress relief and more ease. Through movement of the body (somatics), yoga helps you down-regulate stress responses or up-regulate low energy. No yoga experience required.

About the event

In-person, in-studio class, 90 minutes

Class format is educational, experiential and will be a blend of learning about the nervous system, practicing somatic techniques and gentle yoga movement for approximately 30 minutes.


We live in a world of constant ‘on.’ It causes us to become disconnected from the body and to ‘run on empty.’ With the regular demands of life, work, family, stress, commitments, it’s important to find ways to come back into presence, into a regulated state, to reconnect with your body and to refuel so you can live in greater inner peace.


In this class, join LPC Elaine Gallas and RYT & Reiki Master Jen Rizza to learn how you can use basic yoga poses (asana) to come back into alignment and restore the connection of mind-body.
